Notion Job Application Tracker Template
Once you've sent more than a dozen applications, it gets hard to remember who you applied to, what happened, and who you still owe a follow-up. This template keeps every application in one Notion database, so the next step is always written down.
What's in the free Lite version
Every application is one row with these properties:
| Property | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Company | The employer |
| Role | The position you applied for |
| Status | Wishlist / Applied / Assessment / Interviewing / Offer / Rejected |
| Next Action | The one thing you need to do next, e.g. "Send follow-up email" |
| Next Action Date | When you need to do it |
| Days since applied | Counted automatically from the date you applied |
It comes with two views:
- Pipeline Board: one column per status, so you can drag an application from Applied to Interviewing.
- Calendar: every Next Action Date on a calendar, so follow-ups don't slip.
A simple rule that keeps the board clean: if two follow-ups get no reply, mark it Rejected and move on.
